Keerthy Suresh
Keerthy SURESH (born on 17 October 1992) is an acclaimed Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu movies, and also in a few of Malayalam. She received the National Film Award Best Actress Award for playing the character Savitri. The other awards she received include the three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South as well as three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the daughter of film producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. She started her acting career in the early 2000s. Her debut lead role came in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy has signed her first Tamil projects in 2015 and started accepting projects from Malayalam. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. The film did not turn out to be successful at the box-office. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 meant that she had choose to stay out of movies that she was already developing, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, in order to make room for larger projects. The actress was in two films in rapid succession with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note in Prabhu's Thodari. In 2015, the film was later delayed and reports indicate that Janakitho Nenu is expected to release in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was in Bairavaa produced by Bharathan and featuring actor Vijay. Keerthy also appeared as a character in Tamil film Paambhu sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
