April Ross
April Ross, a beach volleyball player American She is one of a small set of women who've been awarded medals at several Olympics. Alix Kallineman will compete with April Ross Tokyo to win her third gold medal over the next few days. Ross's goal is to win her first Olympic gold medal. With her age of 39, it may be Ross' final chance to take home the Olympic gold medal. But she is confident that the top honours will be at hand. If we perform at our very best or even very well, I think we'll get that gold medal Ross said via NBC Boston. In addition, I'm planning try to be a little chance. Ross was born on the 22nd of October, 1982. She was raised in Costa Mesa California where she lived with her parents and her sister. She then went on to compete across a variety of sports in Newport Harbor High School. As a prep-athlete, she played indoor track and volleyball. In her final game, she clearly stood out. According to her bio, she was an outside blocker as well as a middle hitter on the volleyball court during her senior year of high school. To honor her effort, she was honored as the 1999 Gatorade Champion of Champions Circle of Champions Player of the Year. In 2000, she won the Orange County Athlete of the Year award in volleyball. Although Ross and Klineman are a couple in 2017 and beyond, Klineman was already an established athlete on the beach long before their pairing. The American has been a major winner in competitions with a variety of partners. In one of the tournaments, she has become an icon of the world of volleyball. Her partnership was with Jennifer Kessy from 2007-2013, and she also served as a coach and Klineman. Kessy as well as Ross proved to be an impressive force on the world circuit, winning an overall world title in 2009. The two eventually clinched an Olympic silver medal during the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Misty Maytreanor's legendary team and Kerri Jennings won the gold. Ross Jennings was Walsh Jennings partner in fate when Maytreanor retired. They went on to win the bronze medal in beach volleyball during the Rio Olympics in the year 2016. Following high school, and for a few some time before hitting the sand as a pro Ross was a ball for the USC Trojans as university. Ross's Trojans experience was outstanding. It was her time to be an All-American and Pac-10 Freshman of Year in the year 2000. The team also saw her help in helping the Trojans to make it to into the Final Four. Her sophomore year was the time she experienced a devastating personal tragedy, yet managed to be a second All-American. In her last two years, she took the Trojans to the top of the mountain and clinched consecutive national titles. She was a great volleyball player and won the Honda Sports Award in 2003-04 as the best female college volleyball player. Ross took a course in international relations at USC. Margie Ross did not see her daughter rise to the top in the world of beach volleyball. Margie, Ross's mother, passed away in 2001. Ross was still a USC sophomore. It was discovered that she had breast cancer. She still holds her mother in her arms. Margie is an ever-present source of inspiration to her, both in and out on the beach.
