Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born on Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her after her hometown. Michel Horowitz was her father as well as Cynthia Palmer, his mother, were both authors and editors. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father had an ethnically Jewish origin. Ryder is the younger sister of Uria, and has half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's parents relocated her and their children into Mendocino County California when Ryder reached seven. They was in a house that didn't have electric power. Ryder, who was an avid reader when she was 12 became a book worm because Ryder was not able to access television. In 1983 when she was 12 years old, Ryder enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. She landed her debut role on the big screen in 1986, at the age of 15 young. Ryder was bullied at her high school. Her acting career, she hoped that it would aid her. But, unfortunately, that didn't happen. But she continued to pursue her dreams. In 1988, she got her biggest break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in a variety of films. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her role on The Age of Innocence (1993).
